Cromwell’s golf course is further from the sea than any other in

New Zealand but is built on genuine "links" style terrain. The irrigated fairways are gently undulating, while plantings of marram grass

penalise stray shots.

There are seven championship courses within a 45 minute drive of Cromwell, making it the centre of golf in the Central Otago / Southern Lakes area, and the ideal base for a golfing tour.

Cromwell's unique micro-climate means that the sky is often clear and the course open for play when others in the area are closed. The dry desert-like climate brings high temperatures in summer with low humidity. In winter a crisp white frost ensures a brilliantly sunny day in which to enjoy a round of golf on a course maintained to a consistently high standard.

                 - Women: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
